Toad

Toad Hall is a self-catered hall of residence that specialises in providing accommodation for mature age students at The Australian National University in Canberra.

We are a diverse, tolerant and open academic community that provides a supportive and stimulating learning and living environment for its members. Residents of Toad Hall come from all over the globe, engage in world-class study and research, and build enduring friendships with other students and researchers from an extraordinary mix of backgrounds and experiences.

Nestled on the edge of the campus, Toad Hall is centrally located with every service you would ever need within a 400-metre radius of the Hall. Most lecture theatres, libraries and University services are only a five-minute walk away. A 10-minute walk puts you in the middle of a kaleidoscope of cafes, shopping centres and restaurants, bookstores, movie theatres and the hub of the city.

Here at Toad Hall we endeavour to create the perfect balance between the academic and the social spheres of life. We trust that all experiences at Toad Hall are rewarding not only academically but personally as well.
